About PM SHRI School

PM SHRI School is a centrally sponsored scheme launched by the Government of India with the aim of developing more than 14,500 PM SHRI Schools across the country. These schools are managed by the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, and local bodies, including KVS and NVS.

The initiative focuses on creating schools where every student feels welcomed, valued, and supported. It aims to provide a safe and engaging learning environment with diverse learning opportunities, modern infrastructure, and adequate educational resources that support effective learning for all students.

The scheme is designed to nurture students so that they grow into responsible, productive, and active citizens who contribute to building an equitable, inclusive, and diverse society, in line with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
